Sparkly shoes, Glitzy shoes, glamorous shoes, shimmering shoes. Everyone is wearing them.  We girls love our sparkles, beads and diamantes. You just can’t beat a pair glittering high-heeled shoes for making you feel like a million dollars.  What do we like to wear for a night on the town?  It varies from personality to personality.  But everyone agreed the shoes they wear must look stunning.  We like our shoes adorned with jewels, sequins, beads and bows.  And we’re not too concerned about the comfort. When we’re trying to impress our friends and partners we all think that shoe comfort comes second!  Some mums think we’re mad but many agree and even some of our grandmothers!

Leather or synthetic material is usually the shoe material of choice and everyone agreed you can’t beat a leather upper for comfort.  High heeled synthetic shoes caused more discomfort in the long run but they often came out favourite as being the sexiest.

Jeweled and sequined shoes are a great buy.  Fun to wear and looking fabulous, they brighten up a basic pair of jeans without the need for masses of jewellery.  Choose from strappy sandals covered with beads or a low heeled pump with glitzy bows.  Peep toe sandals studded with diamantes and a wedge heel look fabulous with anything!  Wear them in the daytime or the evening for the wow factor. Muted colors of browns and creams have given way to bold stunning colors and shimmering silvers and golds.  Gold shoes are making a comeback and look great accessorized with gold clutch bag or gold oversized shopper.  Think 80’s fashion and the gold shoes of that era and you won’t be far wrong.

Strappy sandals and delicate shoes are also given the bling treatment.  Covered in shiny beads with silver buckles and fasteners they look great on a well-groomed foot.  Thin straps and tiny heels show off feet to their advantage, make sure you’re up to the challenge by splashing out on a pedicure.

Wear silvers, golds or contrasting colours to liven up an old outfit, your glitzy shoes with high heels or low pumps will look fabulous with anything.
